Senior Accountant - Implementation Project - REMOTE Job at Aegis Worldwide in Au

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations at a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy in plant-level accounting, inventory management, and cost analysis. The Plant Accountant will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to deliver accurate reporting and provide insights that drive efficiency. Maintain accuracy of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and plant-level reporting. Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Support accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and overhead/labor rates. Provide plant-level financial analysis to support decision-making. Assist with budgeting and forecasting by supplying operational cost data. Support physical inventory counts and cycle count programs. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). ~3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. ~ Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP). ~ Ability to work independently and partner effectively with operations teams.
