Job Function -

Reviews bankcard applications and approvals to ensure documentation is complete. Ensures the accurate and timely processing of general maintenance. Serves as customer service contact for all Credit Card servicing questions and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities -

Reviews bankcard applications and approvals to ensure documentation is complete prior to boarding new accounts.

Ensures the accurate and timely processing of general maintenance monetary and non-monetary.

Performs call back of previous day's work to ensure accurate data entry.

Performs client services function, responding to all correspondence and client inquiries.

Sorts and distributes reports.

Creates and maintains files and related logs.

Provides audit support for Card Operations Manager.

Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education and Related Experience -

3+ years of banking/financial services experience required. 2+ years of credit card operations/servicing experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of document/auditing experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Skills and Abilities -

Must be detail/process oriented, work comfortably with numbers, and complete repetitive steps while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and the integrity of the data. Must be able to prioritize work efficiently and act with a sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients via phone to answer inquiries and explain high risk conditions requiring their processing instructions and/or approval decision. Working knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, and banking industry practices required. Must have working knowledge of third party processing systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and clients. Knowledge of security controls, data ownership and classification, threat management, and risk management. Solid understanding of information security practices, systems, and standards. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and concern for data accuracy. Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics. Excellent customer service and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. Strategic and problem solving mindset with developed analytical abilities and organizational skills. Must possess knowledge of standard office and bank equipment including computer, fax machine, scanners, validators, and copy machines Must possess working knowledge of computers and computer operations, MS Office software, especially, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements -

Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions. Ability to read and interpret software and hardware technical documents. Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions. Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 30 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.
