GenStar offers an excellent opportunity for a Claims Executive based in Stamford, CT, Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL. This role is hybrid. Role Description
The Claim Executive handles litigated and non-litigated casualty claims from inception to closure, following industry and company best practices. Responsibilities:
Provide high-level technical claim handling and support to clients and insureds, mitigating losses, resolving coverage issues, and advising when appropriate. Proactively handle claims, addressing coverage, liability, damages, setting reserves, and mitigating exposures. Prepare thorough reports for clients, insureds, and management, and provide valuable client insights to underwriters. Maintain necessary adjuster licenses, complete ongoing education, and participate in industry-related programs. Follow company standards and stay current with industry and legal developments affecting claims. Attend settlement conferences, mediations, ADR, and trials as needed. Travel as required by the company. Qualifications and Experience
At least 7 years of insurance claims handling experience. Undergraduate degree. Excellence in communication, time management, judgment, business sense, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Industry designations or coursework are a plus. Salary Range
$106,000 - $178,000 USD annually, depending on credentials, education, experience, location, responsibilities, performance, skills, and training. Headquarters
