Green Investment Partners is hiring: Accountant in Pittsburgh

This Accountant will perform a variety of accounting activities (listed below) in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Take the lead in the month-end and year-end close, including creating and entering journal entries and performing general ledger account analysis
• Manage indirect cost reports and submissions
• Prepare monthly financial reports for senior operations personnel
• Oversee and prepare month-end customer invoices
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Assist with the year-end financial audit
• Assist with development of the annual budget
• Manage state filing and registration process

Required Experience

• Working knowledge of US GAAP required
• A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Excel and Word experience required
• Must be a problem solver

Education or Equivalent Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

We are a Medical Marijuana facility located on the Northside of Pittsburgh. This is an onsite position.
