Title: HR Coordinator (People Operations Analyst/Associate)

Location: Newport Beach, CA

Duration: 6 months

Pay: $35-$38/hr.

About the Role:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Analyst to support our HR team in delivering exceptional employee experiences. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Support & Case Management:

Respond to employee and HR inquiries with accuracy and empathy, ensuring timely resolution of questions related to policies, benefits, payroll, and more. Escalate complex cases as needed and maintain thorough documentation.

Onboarding Coordination:

Manage onboarding logistics for new hires and contingent workers, including background checks, documentation, compliance, and system readiness. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth start for new employees.

HR Systems & Data Management:

Execute transactions in HR platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), generate reports, and maintain data integrity across systems. Knowledge & Process Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR knowledge bases, SOPs, and process documentation. Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

Policy & Compliance:

Stay informed on HR policies and employment regulations. Support compliance efforts and assist in policy updates and implementation.

Content Creation & Communication:

Develop engaging HR content such as newsletters, training materials, and internal communications using tools like Canva, Articulate, or Snagit. Project Support & Collaboration: Work with HR subject matter experts on cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or a related field 2+ years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, or employee support Familiarity with HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow) and a tech-forward mindset Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving
