Duties - Identify and pursue bid opportunities via Construction.com, Bidnet Direct, Sigma VSS, etc. - Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop pricing strategies - Utilize software such as Bluebeam and BuildingConnected for precise estimating - Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure budget adherence - Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing Experience - Proven experience in construction estimating and project management - Proficiency in using estimating software like Bluebeam and BuildingConnected - Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms - Knowledge of cost control methods and techniques - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
