Position Description

• Position Title: Warehouse Associate
• Reports to: Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager
• Department: Warehouse
• Interactions: Warehouse and Sales Staff

Main Purpose and Major Challenges of the Role

Pull and Pack orders for shops or Website orders. Ensure orders are pulled correctly, labeled correctly, and packed well. Unload and load containers or trucks; ability to team lift boxes up to 100 lbs. The main challenge is ensuring you pull the right product.

Accountability

• Pulling and Packing: Ensure the correct boards or accessories are pulled and packed safely. Follow company guidelines on sustainability and ensure boxes are labeled correctly. Pack orders from single boards to full shop orders.
• Unloading and Loading: Assist with unloading containers and storing boards; team load orders onto box trucks for shipment.
• Organize and Clean: Maintain a tidy workspace, sweep as needed, and refill product bins (fins, pads, leashes). Refill bins when empty.

Personal Measurables

• Team Player: The warehouse runs on teamwork during unloading/loading and stocking activities.
• Creative: May need to modify packing to fit different board sizes and packaging needs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Be able to team lift 100 lbs
• Able to climb up and down ladders
• Organized and clean
• Basic computer skills (email)
