Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse or machine shop environment.
  • Experience with internal order fulfillment, material staging, inventory management, and shipping/receiving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and PO management.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with code vessels or fabrication environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality; ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
  • Storage & Organization: Organize and store materials, tools, and equipment in designated locations for easy access and retrieval.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fulfill internal and external orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Material Tracking: Track inventory movement manually using Microsoft Excel; monitor PO status and material staging.
  • Vendor Coordination: Send materials to outside vendors for processing and maintain documentation trails.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Record warehouse activities including receipts, shipments, and inventory levels.

Operational Environment

  • Facility operates as a manufacturing warehouse, not a distribution center.
  • Materials such as steel plates are received, recorded, and issued internally for fabrication.
  • Inventory control includes tracking heat numbers, material types, and specifications (e.g., 18-inch nozzles).
  • Warehouse setup includes conbond staging, reorder points, and quality control areas.
  • No MRP software is used; all tracking is done via Excel spreadsheets.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with paperwork, loading/unloading trucks, and internal material issuance.

Schedule & Duration

  • Monday to Saturday work schedule (Saturday is a half day)
  • Duration: Long-term opportunity
