Ferguson is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Portland

Overview

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Starting pay is $19.15 per hour and pay can be higher based on experience. Hours

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift, clamp truck, and order selector/cherry picker to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean workspace and contribute to a safe, accident-free facility.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE. Includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $19.15 - $28.72. Estimated ranges are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
