Overview

Administrative Assistant role at Rödl & Partner USA. This full-time, on-site position is based in Houston, TX and provides support to senior management and staff of the Houston office. We are seeking a positive, self-motivated, professional individual with strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior management and staff of the Houston office on daily administrative tasks.
  • Work with financial data, software, internet tools, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Manage priorities and reschedule as required to meet deadlines; demonstrate strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • High-level expertise in MS Word & Outlook and PowerPoint with a working knowledge of Excel and Adobe.
  • Associate’s degree and/or at least 4+ years of administrative assistant experience or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including letter/memo/email correspondence.
  • Ability to understand challenges facing partners and staff and to manage priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated high-level client-service orientation and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in a Public Accounting or Law Firm environment is preferred but not required.
  • Accounting Software experience (CCH Axcess, ProSystem Practice, ProSystem Tax, ProSystem Engagement) is a plus but not required.
  • German language skills are preferred but not required.
