Overview
CACI is currently looking for a Data Analyst with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia. Join this team of industry-leading individuals supporting Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the mission to safeguard the American people and enhance national safety, security, and prosperity. ASF programs value innovation and require adaptable, technically diverse, and geographically distributed collaboration. Experience with agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints is important.
Responsibilities
- Help customers and mission users conceptualize and prioritize their data analysis and visualization needs.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to prioritize analytic needs and incrementally develop new capabilities.
- Address unusually complicated problems with creative and resourceful solutions.
- Evaluate existing data sets and reporting architectures to identify gaps and apply modern technologies to improve mission outcomes.
- Use development languages such as SQL, Spark, and Python to create or augment BI/operational intelligence tools to detect trends and relationships in large data sets.
- Lead across teams with strong communication and work ethic.
- Promote Agile culture and functional decomposition.
- Identify new portfolio business value innovations and opportunities.
- Assist in removing roadblocks for various teams.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation (3-year felony check, 1-year checks for illegal drug use and misconduct).
- 7+ years of professional experience in data challenges across data architecture, data engineering, data science, data analysis and visualization, machine learning, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience training customers on data analytical solutions.
- Experience with at least two data analytics tools (e.g., IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Qlik, PowerBI).
- Database skills for AWS RDS concepts and understanding of databases used by Databricks, Oracle, and Informatica ETL.
- Experience as an Enterprise-level Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst, with strong Agile or DevOps background and cloud-native technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
Desired
- 5-10 years of DHS/DoD/IC experience in complex data environments and terabyte-scale ETL.
- 5-10 years applying analytical techniques (statistical, geospatial, link, temporal, predictive) in DHS/DoD/IC contexts.
- 3-5 years building AI/ML capabilities in software applications for national security or academia.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes and tools.
- Experience implementing or migrating to AWS or Azure.
- Ability to contribute to development of innovative principles and ideas.

Pay Range
$103,800 - $218,100
