Primary Talent Partners is hiring: Data Analyst in Charlotte

Overview

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Data Analyst with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position – 3 days a week in office.

Pay

Pay: $50.26 – $55.26/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports database and data migration projects across SQL, Oracle, and ESRI environments.
• Data architecture work through diagramming, process mapping, and schema development.
• Supports data and database quality control through querying, reporting, and manual intervention.
• Assists with development of front end and analytical tools, using systems like ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, PowerBI, and PowerApps.
• Implements relational database best practices, indexing and normalizing data, and joining multiple tables to provide business insights and visualization.
• Interfaces with internal customers to gather feedback, present development work, and improve processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in addition to 3-5 years of experience OR
• Masters Degree in addition to 1-2 years of experience OR
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, database design/architecture, or related field
• Experience developing PowerBI and other business reporting tools to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
• Database design and development experience
• SQL query writing and troubleshooting
• Python proficiency, including writing ETLs and/or leveraging spatial packages
• ESRI ArcGIS, including experience with ArcGIS Online and/or Enterprise deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• GISP or DBA certifications
• Familiarity with Real Estate, right-of-way, and/or utilities
• Database migration experience
• Experience supporting ESRI applications and spatial data
• Experience administering and monitoring database activity for performance and reliability

Location

• Candidates must be local to Charlotte and will work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days a week in office)
