We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to expand the Pure Barre community. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients on a daily basis and help create a supportive and meaningful community.

Overview

The Sales Representative assists the General Manager/Owner with new membership sales by bringing in new members, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and guiding them through the sales process to a membership sale. The role also supports retaining current members with unmated customer service. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales process from lead generation to follow-up and close
  • Conduct facility tours, establish relationships, and identify individual goals and needs
  • Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production
  • Emphasize and uphold the club as a fitness and wellness provider
  • Present available services to current or prospective members
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas
  • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the club
  • Develop selling skills and take initiative
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
  • Follow up and follow-through with prospective clients
  • Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
  • Attend and complete all relative training programs
  • Take pictures for social media platforms
  • Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
  • Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Goal-oriented with ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
  • Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone, and via email
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
