What You Will Do
- Oversee accounting activities and ensure compliance with accounting principles and practices.
- Assist with daily accounting and month-end close processes related to Prepaid Expense, External and Internal Supplier Royalties, Rebates, Programs and Discounts.
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations using required tools in accordance with internal requirements.
- Collaborate with proprietary operations to validate key account data, prepare summarized reporting, and post financial adjustments.
- Work with other departments and proprietary business personnel to optimize accounting processes.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned by the Senior Supervisor or Proprietary Products Accounting management.
- Contribute to a safe work environment by modeling core safety values.
- Other duties as required.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in a large ERP system and Microsoft Office suite.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Power BI experience preferred.
- Agricultural industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving to assess financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software or ERP systems.
- Effective communication for clear reporting and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and apply accounting policies with consistency and accuracy.
- Capability to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Attention to detail in financial documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role in Loveland is $59,300 – $123,200. Salary and benefits are determined based on factors including skill set, experience, location, and business needs. Actual compensation may differ based on location.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage (for roles >30 hours/week), and a retirement program with employer matching. Paid vacation, sick days, holidays, personal and parental leaves, and Employee and Family Assistance Program are also provided. Details will be shared during the application process. In addition, eligibility may extend to annual and long-term incentive plans as applicable.
