Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and supporting management with financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger operations.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and providing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment (tax or audit).
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.

Compensation Range:

$80K-$100K+
