Overview

We’re working with a PE-backed distribution company (~$70M revenue) that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their lean and high-performing accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to acquisitions, integrations, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Own critical reconciliations across balance sheet and accounts.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
• Assist with inventory accounting and analysis.
• Partner with the Controller and Accounting Manager on process improvements.
• Leverage Excel for reporting and analysis; ERP system experience preferred.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of accounting experience.
• Public/private background preferred (CPA track a plus).
• Strong reconciliation experience (required).
• Inventory experience a plus.
• Ability to work in-office 3 days per week on Long Island.
