Tax Accountant — Duluth, MN | $100,000 salary | Full-Time

A growing accounting firm in Duluth, MN is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys managing the full process of individual and corporate returns while building lasting client relationships in a supportive, flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns (1040, 1120-S, 1065).
• Manage tax returns from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide high-quality service and support.
• Contribute to process improvements and help the firm expand its capacity.

Qualifications

• CPA or EA designation required.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience preparing both individual and corporate returns.
• Strong working knowledge of 1040’s, 1120-S, and 1065’s.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (high school diploma or GED required).

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 annual salary.
