Andy Frain Services, America's leading provider of integrated security solutions for over 100 years, is seeking a Flex (on-call) Security Guard for our job site in Wilton, Iowa. This part-time position has hours that vary based on coverage needs due to call offs, weather, and scheduled time off. As our flex security guard, you will help ensure 24/7 security coverage when a team member is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
• Patrol of buildings and perimeters.
• Escort of material and personnel.
• Inspection of security and fire exposures.
• Special assignments.

Job Summary

Perform security duties as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Security personnel will maintain awareness of surroundings and note activities in the assigned area. Officers must maintain a professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 18.
• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED).
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
• Minimum 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems or access computer systems.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or customers.
• Pushing/pulling/carrying/lifting may include up to 50 lbs.
• Normal vision or corrected by glasses or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs and walk as required to perform duties.
