ASM Global is hiring: Security Guard - Post One in City of Albany

Overview

SUMMARY: Monitor the operation of the fire alarm and camera network required in the Post 1 security room. Ensure building rounds, alarm responses and all other duties are completed promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Complete all aspects of managing the security Post 1 operation. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Maintain rules & regulations of the building.
• All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum 3 years security experience.
• Good communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• New York State Security License required.

Physical Demands

This position will require a large amount of walking, climbing, stooping, and possible heavy lifting, including both outdoor and indoor settings. This position may consist of confrontational occurrences.

Shift

Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Pay Rate

$21.85 per hour (NYS Prevailing Wage)
