Overview
Nextran Truck Centers is hiring a Parts Delivery Driver for Jacksonville, FL. As a Parts Delivery Driver, you are a valued member of our team and are responsible for delivering parts to customers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Pulls parts orders in warehouse for delivery.
- Delivers parts to customers and ensures accuracy by matching parts to invoice.
- Completes documentation necessary for the delivery and payment of goods.
- Stocks items in warehouse, as needed.
- Assists in other warehouse duties, as assigned.
Preferred Candidates
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT physical and resulting Medical Examiner’s Certificate required
- Must pass a driving test
- Effective communication skills for relationship building with customers
- Basic math, reading, and ability to follow directions
- High School Education or GED preferred
Compensation
$15 - $18 per hour
Work Environment
Parts Delivery Drivers spend most of the day in a delivery vehicle (truck, van, transit, etc.) driving to each customer's location. Frequent lifting of 50 lbs - 150 lbs, and will be expected to carry and push heavy items.
