Job Description
As a Receptionist at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be the first point of contact for all guests, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and seamless experience. You will handle check-ins and check-outs, provide information about the hotel, and assist with guest requests while reflecting the bold, playful, and stylish identity of the SO/ brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests warmly, creating a positive first impression of the hotel.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and updates using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, bell, and concierge teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing, and payments.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations accurately.
- Assist in managing VIP guests and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Uphold professional appearance, grooming, and SO/ brand service standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene policies at the front desk.
- Promote hotel services, packages, and special offers to guests to enhance the overall experience and revenue.
- Support the Front Office Supervisor and Manager with daily reporting, audits, and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or front office agent in luxury hotels or resorts preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of PMS systems, reservations procedures, and front office operations.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance, confident demeanor, and alignment with SO/ brand standards.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints tactfully.
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
