Overview

Comfort Keepers is seeking reliable, honest, and caring individuals to provide one-on-one in-home nonmedical care and companionship for seniors. Immediate work available with flexible full-time or part-time positions. Caregivers should be committed to delivering high-quality care and treating clients with respect and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide nonmedical in-home care and companionship following an established plan of care
• Assist with activities of daily living as appropriate (skin care, ambulation, bathing, dressing, nail care, oral care, feeding, toileting, positioning, transfers)
• Support clients to maintain safety, dignity, and independence

Qualifications

• One of the following certifications: STNA, HHA, CNA, DSP (with nurse supervision for 1 year), Medical Assistant, or private caregiver experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a state background check (federal background check required if not lived in Ohio for the last 5 years)
• Must be 18 years of age and have one year of professional caregiving/home health aide experience
• Open availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
