Digital Marketing Manager (Updated 9/11/2025)

Full Time: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm (remote) / 40hrs a week position

Base Salary: $75,000 (entry-level) - $95,000 (highly experienced) annually, based on skills and experience. In addition, we pay yearly bonuses based on company performance.

About the Role: As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be a strategic leader and trusted advisor to our clients, driving the planning and execution of powerful digital marketing strategies that support their business goals. This role calls for expertise in Purple Pig Marketing’s products and platforms, along with a strong command of SEO, paid advertising, social media, and more. You’ll proactively uncover growth opportunities, guide clients through complex initiatives, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to deliver measurable results. Account Management (55%)

  • Service as the primary point of contact for your book of clients provide proactive interaction via phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams
  • Focus on retention of clients through quality execution, relationships, and strong client service
  • Work directly with a portfolio of clients as their direct point of contact, educate them through clear communication, offer strategic growth suggestions and helping them achieve their goals
  • Prepare quarterly evaluations with performance highlights, ROI insights, and next-step strategies. Collaborate with the strategy team to align client goals with the right marketing mix.
  • Analyze and respond to any ad hoc customer reporting requests including account performance evaluations

·Monitor and analyze campaigns to ensure they’re aligned with the established strategy, gather insight and data to identify strategic KPIs, and report on progress

·Monthly client facing strategic conversations, planning and follow-through with internal teams

·Quarterly client facing strategic conversations, planning and follow-through with team

Cross-Functional Support (40%)

  • Assist with sales support strategies and web and marketing audits
  • Analyze competitor’s websites and online marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with team and oversee new website projects
  • Perform keyword research for both SEO and PPC campaigns
  • SEO: Create keyword strategy, implement and set up ongoing tracking and monitoring
  • SEO: Analyze and review ongoing Google Search Console performance and keyword rankings. Find areas for improvement and implementation.
  • PPC: Create keyword strategy, implement and set up ongoing tracking and monitoring
  • PPC: Analyze and review ad performance. Find areas for improvement and implementation.
  • Manages our company’s social media strategy and content publishing

Process Improvement (5%)

  • Develop new and refine existing processes that can be utilized across teams (client onboarding, reporting, internal cross-channel communication, etc.)
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to make informed recommendations

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in marketing/advertising, strategy, sales, or equivalent experience. Experience in digital marketing campaigns and project or account management.
  • Experience with Local SEO, keyword research, ongoing SEO enhancements and backlink strategies.
  • Experience with PPC (Google Ads), keyword research, implementation and ongoing monitoring/improvements
  • Proven track record of upselling and growing client accounts.
  • Digital marketing agency experience
  • Lives in the local area near Geneva, IL.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills, ensuring effective budget management and proactive problem-solving.
  • Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Self-starter with a zeal for collaboration in a team-based environment. Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems

Compensation

  • Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
