Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Avondale, LA. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, developing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Additional duties include handling performance management, employee training, and benefits administration. The HR Manager will also play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the professional growth of employees.

Qualifications

• Lead HR initiatives to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Manage payroll, benefits, leave administration (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and insurance renewals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Maintain HR policies, records, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate training, development, and employee recognition programs.
• Serve as liaison with benefits providers, vendors, and external partners.
• Jones Act and Netchex experience is a plus.
