Overview

Sargent is searching for a motivated and versatile Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a vital part of our HR department, you will contribute to the execution of HR strategies that drive our business forward and support our dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Collaborate with leadership to enhance our talent acquisition strategies, onboarding, and orientation process implementation.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a key resource for employees and managers, offering guidance on HR matters, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • HR Operations: Prepare and coordinate flow of HR & Benefit related documents

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR assistant or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.

Location

This role is based full-time in our Orono, ME office, with occasional travel to jobsites or to New Hampshire as needed.
