Overview

Lawelawe Management Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to oversee employee relations, onboarding, training, and compliance. This role blends day-to-day HR operations with strategic input, ensuring our teams are supported while the organization remains aligned with current employment laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and execute HR programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave management
• Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, managers, and departments, escalating sensitive matters as needed
• Manage employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, offboarding, I-9 compliance, and new hire orientations
• Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations and workplace issues
• Review, document, and update company policies to ensure compliance with employment laws
• Partner with leadership to support HR initiatives that align with strategic goals

Qualifications

• Professional experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or similar role
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements
• Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across teams
• Highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable handling confidential information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (experience with ADP, Paycom, or similar is a plus)
• US Citizenship required
