Patty O's Café & Bakery is a new restaurant by Patrick OConnell, the award‑winning chef and proprietor of The Inn at Little Washington. Slated to open in the fall of 2021, Patty O's will feature American classics inspired by Chef O Connell's childhood, as well as magical dream-like murals, handcrafted cocktails, wine, beer, and a grab-and-go bakery of delightful French-inspired pastries.

Summary
Promotes coffee consumption by educating our guests and staff. Prepares and serves coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, espresso lungo, caffè latte, and cappuccino.
Essential Functions
- Prepares and serves beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate
- Promotes and recommends menu options to guests
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment, maintaining supplies, and cookies for coffee station
- Maintains equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Evaluates and modifies processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintains personal networks
Qualifications
Required
- Prior café or coffee shop experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos
- Must have reliable transportation
Desirable
- Prior restaurant experience
- Guest interaction skills

- Ability to speak French or Spanish

- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
