Overview

A large healthcare system local to South Jersey is expanding their ambulatory clinic. They are looking to hire a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join the oral surgery team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain surgical instruments and lab equipment; perform instrument sterilization and position instruments for dentist access
• Obtain radiographic imaging and perform x-rays/scans as required
• Assist with patient support and care following IV sedation
• Utilize an EMR for patient documentation following standard practices and procedures
• Assist with oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, periodontal procedures, and biopsies
• Support schedule across two locations (Voorhees and Sewell), planned in advance

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
• Experience with instrument sterilization, radiography, EMR documentation, and IV sedation support is preferred
• Ability to work across two locations; reliable, team-oriented
