Overview
Straub Benioff Medical Center, founded in 1921, includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 medical specialties. The hospital is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center and brings new technologies and innovative practices to Hawai'i.
The Community and Social Services team helps patients and families cope with the life changes and challenges associated with hospitalization. These professionals support hospitalization and health care treatment in a caring and compassionate manner. If you are compassionate and empathetic, you could be our next Social Worker, providing counseling and guidance to patients and families undergoing traumatic or challenging situations. Responsibilities include assessment, counseling and referral services to patients and their families. We seek someone with a strong commitment to community care and high-quality health care for Hawai‘i’s people.

Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Social Work license.
- Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year clinical social work experience in an acute care setting.
