The Role

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support II professional to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, coordinating, and resolving hardware and systems incidents. You will manage onboarding and offboarding processes, provide support for daily IT functions and ensure smooth technical operations across our organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and resolve Help Desk requests via email and ticketing systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document system incidents and outages
  • Escalate issues based on severity and impact
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks for staff
  • Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and relocations
  • Provide IT support at company events and across multiple airport locations
  • Deliver orientation and training for new staff
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues

The Person

  • 10 years or more experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Ability to organize short and long-term tasks and communicate the status of tasks with clients and management.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Self-starter with results-driven focus.
  • Capability to assume additional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data coordination and conversion projects
