As a Security Officer Petrochemical Patrol in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and support access control measures. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards. Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the chemical or petrochemical location. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Communicate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations. Remain alert to environmental and operational risks specific to chemical and petrochemical locations, and follow all site-specific guidelines. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
