Job Summary
Responsible for staffing the concession stand, preparing concession items to be sold, collecting money for concessions and daily cleaning of concession areas. Concession stand hours are Monday through Friday 4:30-9:30pm and weekends 9:00am -9:00pm.
Posting will be open until filled. Duties and Responsibilities Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner. Operate concessions equipment which includes- cash register, pop machine, hot-dog cooker, ice maker, pretzel oven/warmer, coffee machine, etc. Assist with inventory of supplies and notify Rink Manager when low. Count money and distribute appropriate change. Responsible for ongoing cleaning of concessions area, working to ensure area is being kept clean. May assist in pre-season preparation and/or post season closedown of concession stand. Preform opening duties to prep machines and food for use. Perform closing duties. Stock empty shelves (food & beverage). Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 15 years old. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good basic math skills.
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated competence and comfort with supporting the city's strategic objectives for advancing racial equity. Good customer service skills to serve the public. Experience working as a cashier or similar role handling cash transactions.
