Job DescriptionRate Of Pay: $23.50/hr.Status: Full - TimeTEAM MEMBER PERKS & BENEFITS:Great benefits including medical, dental, and vision!Enjoy discounts on shopping, travel, and more through our rewards programOn-site employee dining optionsPaid orientation and on-job training providedPaid time off, 401K match, and life insuranceAnd More!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists in performing general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs of the vessel, machinery and equipment under the guidance of the Chief or Assistant Engineers.Assists in various projects, inspections, and assigned work not covered in previous duties.Perform duties o ensure safe working conditions/habits and complete required safety training.Maintain clean and organized machinery spaces.Properly use, maintain, and return all tools and equipment used during the course of your shift.Able to react to change productivity and to handle other tasks as assigned.Perform assigned duties during emergency response situations.Properly utilize the work order system.Substitute leadership role when there is no licensed assistant engineer on shift.Lead marine tasks to ensure safe working conditions/xswain of rescue and/or work boats as assigned.Maintain proper safety and regulatory work logs.Assist with training engine utilities.Can be exposed to high noise levels, vibration, heat, cold, along with working in confined spaces or aloft. Work could occur outside or on the lake.Other duties as CATION and/or EXPERIENCEIncumbent must possess basic mechanical skills, good reasoning ability and have a willingness to learn the duties required to advance in the engineering department. Incumbent must have a QMED certification with "Oiler" endorsement or professional equivalent. Previous mechanical experience is advantageous.
