Senior Systems Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain critical IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing servers, network devices, and virtualization technologies while ensuring security and efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will be skilled in automating workflows, leading technical projects, and optimizing system performance. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory environments. Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and cybersecurity measures to ensure secure operations. Support and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi. Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency. Lead infrastructure upgrades, including migrating from outdated hardware to modern systems. Optimize database performance by rebalancing and restructuring core systems. Prepare for security audits by analyzing environments and refining permission structures. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational IT needs and projects. Requirements: Administration of Microsoft Windows operating systems (server and workstation) Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager VMware ESXi or similar virtual environment Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is a plus EMC Avamar or Veeam is a plus Trend Micro Endpoint Management is a plus Support and use of Microsoft Office Multiple other applications as well as internally developed applications Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
