Will use various other related tools such as IntelliJ and Github. Should be self-organized and cross functional. The team is cross trained to be able to do what all others do. Needs to be a self-starter able to help others and ask for help if needed.
Team handles workflow management for financial crime investigations and money laundering. Creates applications for internal users to look through a queue of items, investigate, and file regulatory filings. RTM is application manager. There are 3 other managers with 1 on the West Coast and 1 in India. Group of 35-50 people split into 5 Agile teams. 3 teams in US, 2 teams in India. About 9 people per team. Much of group is based in Summit. Will participate in Agile ceremonies on set days in the office. Will pick up and assign work and cover work across the team. Must come prepared to meetings and enter work in Jira.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with experience in design, development of enterprise systems, handling high volumes of data in case management and reporting. The candidate would design, implementation, production support and monitoring to replace an existing case management application as well as help build the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Investigations and Reporting.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes: • Build complex UI via Angular UI Framework. • Integrate the UI with backend services. • Participates in standard Agile ceremonies to discuss design, development, and implementation of large and complex application. • Perform standard developer activities of code, write unit test, manually unit test, build and release code, run code scans etc. as part of the standard SDLC cycle for the team in an Agile manner. Has good understanding of version control (GIT), CICD, uDeploy, Jenkins and able to generate documentation as required. • Meet all non-functional requirements for UI development as well as meet enterprise guidelines and standards of best practices, accessibility, security, performance, resilience, high availability, code re-usability etc. • Participates in design, development, and implementation of large and complex application • Develop a loosely coupled architecture making use of the appropriate constructs which should include micro-services, workflows, and routes. • Be comfortable in an Agile environment, understand version control (GIT), CICD, uDeploy, Jenkins and able to generate documentation as required. • Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate development, build, deployment, and testing.
REQUIRED: • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education • 7+ years of Java experience • 4+ years of UI Development using JavaScript Frameworks (React and/or Angular JS) • 4+ years of RESTful web services built on Spring Boot and related technologies • 4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata • 4+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
DESIRED: • 3+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience other than Angular/React (jQuery, Ext JS) • 2+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience • 2+ years of Spring experience • 2+ years of Kafka Experience • 2+ years of Agile experience • 2+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience • Experience using a case management system • Financial crimes experience • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to facilitate design sessions • Ability to gather and document technical requirements • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations • Wells Fargo software engineering experience • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
