We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis, working night shifts.
Job Description
Diagnostic Imaging Expertise: Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Patient Care: Verify patient identity, review medical records, and assess risk factors to provide personalized care.
Procedure Explanation: Clearly explain procedures to patients, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up instructions.
Image Acquisition and Review: Set up equipment, acquire images, review them, and document exceptions from established protocols.
Clinical Decision Support: Communicate data to radiologists, recognize medical emergencies, and respond appropriately.
Education and Training: Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Professional Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT), preferred.
Training and Experience: One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Skills and Knowledge: Analytical and clinical skills, interpersonal and communication skills, technical knowledge, and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
