  • Role: Nuclear Medicine Radiologist

  • Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics
  • EMR: EPIC PACS: Carestream RIS: EPIC
  • Support: 24/7 IT and reading room assistant support
Schedule Options
  • Day Shifts (Onsite Only):
    • Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
    • No call
  • Optional Call Shifts (Remote - takes longer to set up):
    • Weeknights: 6 PM - 8 AM
    • Weekends: 24-hour coverage (Sat 8 AM - Mon 8 AM)
Workload & Procedures
  • Volume: 10-20 patients per day
  • Required Procedures:
    • Lymphoscintigrams
    • Pediatric nuclear medicine studies
    • Therapies (e.g., I-131)
    • Special PET scans (PSMA, Dotatate)
    • PET/CT bone scans
    • Heart, renal, liver scans
Requirements
  • Board Certification/Eligibility: Nuclear Medicine
  • Licensure:
    • Unrestricted California Medical License
    • California RML
    • DEA and BLS
  • Other:
    • Clean background (for temp privileges)
    • Trauma Level II experience preferred
