Job Description Invesco is seeking a Managing Director for its Middle-Market Direct Lending group, focusing on private equity-backed private debt investments in middle market companies.
Key Responsibilities
Originate opportunities and manage financings for senior debt, unitranche, and equity investments.
Expand private equity relationships in the U.S.
Develop and maintain relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and other intermediaries.
Contribute to due diligence processes, including screening and portfolio management.
Present investment memos to the Investment Committee.
Negotiate and review term sheets and legal documents for transactions.
Assist with capital raising activities and special projects.
Provide mentorship to junior team members.
Required Experience
12+ years in a credit or private equity related role.
Experience in direct lending, private credit, or equity investment in middle market companies preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a top university required.
Advanced Degree (CFA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
Fluent knowledge of current market terms and competitive landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant technology tools.
Compensation Salary range: $250,000 - $300,000 annually, including salary and incentive pay.
