We are looking for candidates who want to accelerate their career in procurement consulting. You would join our Associate Consulting program and be located in our Chicago office at a hybrid capacity. This is an opportunity that will allow an individual to drive internal growth and work with major companies to help achieve their business objectives in the ever-changing world of procurement. Responsibilities
Participate in real-world case studies and structured training to accelerate consulting and procurement skills Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure project quality and pace Identify information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, and presenting your findings to team members and clients Develop and propose category and project strategies that maximize value for clients Gain stakeholder engagement at all appropriate levels and influence effectively Provide input into client’s scope of requirements and specification design, proposing best practice approaches to the market Interpret market research, competitive information, and personal knowledge and experience to develop high-quality procurement solutions and efficiencies Your Experience
Strong communicator with an ability to create strong client relationships and influence stakeholders of all levels Analytical skills and problem-solving ability Thrives in dynamic, fast-changing situations High emotional intelligence and natural born problem solver Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are important Intermediate excel skills Willingness to travel is also required University degree from an educational institution What Training & Development will I receive?
What you know is what we can sell to our clients. So we will invest in your development from your first day. You will join our associate consultant program to help you do to develop. We offer training which is widespread and practical combining sessions that focus on critical soft skills, as well as the core capabilities. Depending on your previous experience, this training will combine sessions that focus on critical soft skills as well as the procurement core capabilities. You can receive consulting and procurement specific courses, such as Consulting Foundation Program, Influencing skills and Procurement Skills Program. You will be mentored by one of our Senior Consultants and have the opportunity to work within different categories to expand your knowledge. Our training will help you get the all-round skills for success, but it will be your experience that will really make the difference, which is why the variety of live project work we will give you will be so important.
