Overview
Job title: Corporate Responsibility Manager. Location: IL-REMOTE. Regular, full-time position. Job Summary
Oversees and monitors the organizations corporate responsibility programs for assigned operational units. Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems to detect, correct and prevent potential problems of noncompliance within the applicable operating units. Ensures that commitments to programs are communicated and adhered to throughout the various locations. Responsibilities
Conducts and evaluates risk assessments for assigned entities, determines potential effects on the system, and helps develop recommendations regarding system response. Oversees and implements the corporate responsibility process (CRP) and HIPAA privacy program for assigned entities. Supervises staff and related processes to ensure implementation, investigation, monitoring, and enforcement of regional privacy complaints and concerns. Prepares and delivers reports and updates to senior leaders, including annual reports to the board. Serves as a resource to all departments of assigned entities to establish methods to improve regulatory and legal compliance and reduce vulnerability to fraud, abuse, and waste. Collaborates to periodically revise entity policies and processes in light of changes in system policies, and in laws and regulations regarding government and private payer plans. Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls to ensure regulatory requirements and guidelines are properly executed. Performs other duties as assigned. Education
Bachelor A0s degree in business or health care related field Experience
Seven years of experience with demonstrated progressive leadership Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far, and color identification. Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication; ability to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
