Commercial Clearance Officer - Remote
A leading full-service Settlement & Escrow Company is looking for a Clearance Officer to join their Commercial Team. As one of the Northeast region's largest Title Insurance Agency handling transactions throughout the country, this is an innovative and successful company handling every kind of real estate transaction from single family residences to the most complex multi-site commercial transactions.
Responsibilities
The Clearance Officer will communicate with Attorneys, Banks, Developers, and Company Underwriters.
Review of proformas and endorsements
Review of LLC Documents, Corporation Documents, Partnership Documents, and Trusts
Knowledge of Estates and reviewing Estate Documents and Foreclosures
Review of preparation of affidavits
Maintain system to ensure milestones are met in accordance with company policy
Address all client requests and parties associated with the transaction in a timely manner
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
Paralegal Certification is a plus
5+ years of commercial transaction experience handling New Jersey and Pennsylvania files
Ability to handle heavy client interaction and provide exemplary customer service
Must be extremely well organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Must be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures, and perform continuous follow-up to meet goals
Collaborate and influence outcomes through effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
