As our Staff Product Designer, you’ll shape the product experience at Abridge with high standards for taste, clarity, and strategic thinking across initiatives that impact clinicians, patients, and care teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, navigate complex clinical workflows, and bring structure and empathy to ambiguous problems. You will prototype new ideas and refine existing features, advocating for design excellence at every stage. What You’ll Do
Simplify the Complex:
Transform complex clinical workflows and AI capabilities into intuitive, delightful user experiences. Elevate Our Craft and Establish Design Standards : Push visual and interaction design boundaries; ensure pixels and interactions are meticulously considered. Lead End-to-End Design Execution : Translate ideas into high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and user flows; contribute across the product lifecycle. Champion User-Centered Design : Engage in user research, synthesize insights, and ground design decisions in clinicians\' needs and pain points. What You’ll Bring
7-12+ years of experience shipping impactful product design in complex domains; AI experience is a plus. Proven track record leading design initiatives from concept to launch with measurable impact. High craft standards; meticulous attention to detail and ability to inspire others. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling to influence stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative mindset with low ego and a desire to learn, teach, and grow in a fast-paced team. Experience with AI/ML products and consumer mobile is valued. Must-Have Details
Must be willing to work from SF or NYC office at least 3x per week. Hybrid model; relocation assistance available for candidates willing to move to San Francisco or New York. Base Salary:
$210,000 USD - $230,000 USD per year + equity The salary range is provided for candidates in the San Francisco Bay area and may vary by location, experience, skills, and other factors. Eligible for company stock options as part of total compensation. Compensation and Benefits
