Porter / Cleaning Person

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Porter/Cleaning Person to maintain the cleanliness and organization of TG The Gym during morning hours. This position is essential in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff to ensure they have the best experience possible. Key Responsibilities: General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in gym areas including locker rooms, bathrooms, exercise rooms, and lobby. Sanitization: Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces such as gym equipment, handrails, counters, door handles, and shared spaces to ensure hygiene standards. Trash Disposal: Empty trash cans throughout the gym and dispose of waste in a timely manner. Restroom Maintenance: Clean and restock restrooms, including replenishing toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Laundry: Collect, wash, dry, and fold towels and other laundry items. Equipment Care: Wipe down and maintain cleanliness of gym equipment (e.g., treadmills, weights, machines) to ensure they are in top condition for members. Stocking Supplies: Ensure cleaning supplies and toiletries are stocked and accessible. Customer Service: Assist members with any immediate cleaning or facility-related requests, providing excellent service with a friendly attitude. Team Collaboration: Work alongside the gym staff to address any additional cleanliness or maintenance concerns that may arise throughout the shift. Qualifications: Prior experience in a cleaning or custodial role, preferably in a gym or fitness environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Good physical stamina, as the role may involve moving equipment or cleaning large areas. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Availability for early morning shifts (preferably 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM). Why Join Us?
