With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and efficiency, we are expanding our team and are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in industry-standard software such as Bluebeam. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of experience as an estimator in concrete, masonry, or general construction. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and industry pricing. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam to create detailed estimates and manage project data. Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather relevant information for estimating purposes. Develop cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget throughout the construction process. Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. Prepare detailed reports that outline estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing changes, and new technologies related to construction estimating. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential. Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with cost control methods and pricing strategies within the construction industry. Experience with contracts negotiation is highly desirable. Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam is preferred. Previous experience working on construction sites is beneficial for understanding project requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
