Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse distribution. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and availability. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials. Perform picking and packing duties for order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in order picking. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the job demands. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance mechanical knowledge and equipment operation skills. Requirements Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with familiarity in inventory management practices. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts. Knowledge of packaging techniques and shipping & receiving processes. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); some computer skills are a must. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory control. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
