Position Summary – CMM Programmer Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is looking for a CMM Programmer. The CMM Programmer is responsible for the development of inspection programs, the operation of CMM equipment to perform inspections and the interpretation and understanding of GD&T requirements as defined by our customers to establish conformance of product. MUST be well versed in AS9100 and ITAR QMS and inspection techniques. The inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, aiding in implementing a rigid quality system, maintaining proper documentation, reports and keeping a reliable paper trail in support of manufacturing and in conformance with customer requirements. Enforce and implement our Quality Management Systems. Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for developing accurate inspection programs for CMM to inspect parts, using PC DMIS/Polyworks software. Must be able to setup, program, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), both traditional in-place and articulated-arm devices. Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to blue prints, model-based definition (MBD) files, and specifications, using measuring instruments such as (but not limited to) height gauges, calipers, sine plate, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Reading and understanding complex engineering Blueprints Design work holding and special tooling required to run complex parts Maintain a clean and healthy work environment Follow all company production/safety procedures Primary focus to perform inspection and prepare detailed dimensional reports of machined/welded assemblies utilizing Portable 3D Measuring arm systems (Keyence XM-5000). Program with Keyence XM software using 2D drawings and 3D CAD models Determine acceptability of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies and finished products according to customer requirements, product specifications, company procedures, work instructions and industry standards. Documents and records measurement results and generate non-conformance reports when product or documentation is identified as discrepant Perform First Article Inspections and generates reports in accordance with AS9102 Qualifications Must have strong computer skills and attention to detail. Desire to service internal and external customers.

Aerospace experience preferred.

Ability to program using 2D Drawings and 3D CAD models Complete understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to accurately operate precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, etc. Proficiency in navigating MS Excel, Word, Outlook etc. Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001 and AS9100 Experience in a fast-passed manufacturing environment Strong communication and organization skills Work Environment This job operates on the floor of a manufacturing facility. Physical Demands Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50lbs.
