Medical Device Assembler

Our client is hiring an experienced Electromechanical Assembler to support a growing production team focused on precision-built, high-performance devices used in surgical and imaging environments. This is an on-site contract role based in Greater Minneapolis–Saint Paul area, with potential to be hired on full time. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of electrical and mechanical assembly skills, comfort working from technical drawings, and hands-on experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing. What you'll be doing: Build and wire mechanical and electrical components according to detailed schematics and work instructions Perform testing and diagnostics on electromechanical systems and make adjustments as needed Identify and troubleshoot component-level issues, documenting findings and resolutions accurately Support team goals by collaborating across engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality and efficiency What you bring: 3+ years of hands-on assembly experience with electromechanical or precision instruments Ability to interpret and follow technical documents like schematics, diagrams, and part lists Familiarity with both mechanical tools and electrical testing equipment; soldering experience is a strong asset Previous work in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, etc.) preferred Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to safety and quality standards
