I&E Technician Job Title: I&E Technician – Industrial/Construction Location: Soperton, GA Job Type: Short-Term startup Schedule: Monday–Saturday, including overtime Travel: $500.00 travel in / $500.00 travel out upon completion Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support operations in an industrial and construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems, along with the ability to interpret and organize engineering drawings. This role requires a dependable individual who is capable of working in field conditions and is willing to work overtime. Key Responsibilities: · Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting · Assist in commissioning and testing of instrumentation and control systems · Locate, read, and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and P&IDs · Organize and maintain documentation, including red-lines and as-built drawings · Work alongside engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure proper integration of systems · Follow electrical and safety codes, company policies, and industry standards · Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner · Participate in job site safety programs and daily toolbox talks Preferred Qualifications: · Education: Preferred Certificate or associate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related technical field (college or technical college) · Experience: Desired Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation work, preferably in industrial or construction environments · Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics, control drawings, and layout diagrams · Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and update drawing sets and technical documentation · Familiarity with PLCs, control panels, wiring, and calibration of instruments · Ability to work independently or as part of a team · Willingness to work overtime as required by project schedules Work Environment: · Industrial and construction settings, including indoor and outdoor environments · Use of ladders, lifts, hand tools, and PPE as required · Exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions Job Type: Temporary Pay: $ $55.00 per hour Work Location: In person
