Lab Technician – Will Train (Cosmetic Formulation) Cosmetic Formulators LLC – Oakdale, MN About Us Cosmetic Formulators LLC is a professional cosmetic R&D and manufacturing company specializing in custom formulations for clients worldwide. We develop high-quality skincare, haircare, and personal care products in-house, from concept to production. Position Overview We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing cosmetic bench samples, reading and following formulas accurately, and mixing production batches. No prior cosmetic lab experience is required — we are willing to fully train the right person who shows initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly. Responsibilities Accurately read and interpret formulas Weigh and mix cosmetic bench samples Assist with scaling up to production batches Record data, observations, and results clearly and accurately Maintain a clean, organized lab environment Follow safety and quality protocols Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in a science-related field preferred 0–2 years of laboratory experience (cosmetic or related preferred, but we will train) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions Critical thinker with excellent observation skills Good listener who takes direction and feedback well Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage time and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of science/biology and general lab equipment (pipette, centrifuge, etc) a plus, but not required Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred Basic math skills and clear, legible documentation Hours Mostly Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Physical Demands & Working Conditions Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Manual dexterity and ability to operate lab equipment and machinery Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Speech, hearing, and sight sufficient to perform job duties Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English Why Join Us?
