An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Elk Grove Village, IL area is seeking a Field Service Engineer who is responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of machinery at customer sites. Responsibilities Include: Travel to customer sites to repair machinery or supervise the repair through subcontractors and/or customers’ maintenance people Oversee project management and perform machinery inspections Prepare quotations for service to customers Prepare and present final reports to customers Provide warranty service and support Maintain customer relationship and promote parts sales Requirements: Prefer at least an Associate’s degree in Engineering or related field At least 3 years of related field service experience (Prefer 5yrs) Prefer at least 3 years of project management experience Knowledge of CNC machines proffered. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to travel up to 75 percent (US and Canada) Must have valid driver’s license
